Words Of Great Wisdom ( by Wisdom Quotes )

1. Rise with the sun to pray. Pray alone. Pray often. The Great Spirit will listen, if you only speak.

2. Be tolerant of those who are lost on their path. Ignorance, conceit, anger, jealousy and greed stem from a lost soul. Pray that they will find guidance.

3. Search for yourself, by yourself. Do not allow others to make your path for you. It is your road, and yours alone. Others may walk it with you, but no one can walk it for you.

4. Treat the guests in your home with much consideration. Serve them the best food, give them the best bed and treat them with respect and honour.

5. Do not take what is not yours whether from a person, a community, the wilderness or from a culture. If it was not earned or given, it is not yours.

6. Respect all things that are placed upon this earth – whether it be people or plant.

7. Honor other people’s thoughts, wishes and words. Never interrupt another or mock or rudely mimic them. Allow each person the right to personal expression.

8. Never speak of others in a bad way. The negative energy that you put out into the universe will multiply when it returns to you.

Happiness ...:)

->Savor Everyday Moments :

Pause now and then to smell a rose or watch children at play.
think back on pleasant moments from your day.

->Avoid Comparisons :

Comparing ourselves with others can be damaging to happiness and self-esteem.
Instead of comparing ourselves to others, focusing on our own personal achievement leads to greater satisfaction.

->Have Meaningful Goals :

“People who strive for something significant, whether it’s learning a new craft or raising moral children, are far happier than those who don’t have strong dreams or aspirations,”
 “As humans, we actually require a sense of meaning to thrive.”
“Happiness lies at the intersection between pleasure and meaning. Whether at work or at home, the goal is to engage in activities that are both personally significant and enjoyable.”

->Take Initiative at Work :

How happy you are at work depends in part on how much initiative you take.
when we express creativity, help others, suggest improvements, or do additional tasks on the job, we make our work more rewarding and feel more in control.

->Make Friends, Treasure Family :

Happier people tend to have good families, friends, and supportive relationships. But it’s not enough to be the life of the party if you’re surrounded by shallow acquaintances.
“We don’t just need relationships, we need close ones” that involve understanding and caring .

->Smile Even When You Don’t Feel Like It :

“Happy people…see possibilities, opportunities, and success. When they think of the future, they are optimistic, and when they review the past, they tend to savor the high points,”
Even if you weren’t born looking at the glass as half-full, with practice, a positive outlook can become a habit.

->Say Thank You Like You Mean It :

People who write “gratitude letters” to someone who made a difference in their lives score higher on happiness, and lower on depression and the effect lasts for weeks.

->Give It Away, Give It Away Now! :

Make altruism and giving part of your life, and be purposeful about it. Listening to a friend, passing on your skills, celebrating others successes, and forgiveness also contribute to happiness.
Those who spend money on others feel much greater happiness than those who spend it on themselves.

How to Be Happy and Have Fun Changing the World

The art of making yourself happy is something we can all learn and practice.
No one is happy 100% of the time. Life has its ups and downs. Even so there are some sure fire ways to
increase your happiness.

In a world where truth seems to be the exception,
convenience the norm and blind ambition and greed rewarded, I find joy in
the idea that ‘being good’ is a source of contentment.

The key to happiness has nothing to do with the
acquisition of possessions, wealth or fame.

1->Don’t wait to see if you are having a good time. Instead of going to places and seeing if it is fun decide in advance to have fun regardless of the circumstances.
Enjoy the day regardless of the weather. Make the most of the occasion regardless of the company.

2->Develop deep friendships. Your friends are your true wealth, Value them and see them regularly, Let them know how important they are to you.
Most people only have two close friends so don’t fool yourself into believing you are less popular than most people.

3->Play to your strengths. Have a good long hard look at yourself. What are you good at?
Make a commitment to develop your skills, talents and abilities as much as you can. If you
don’t develop your own unique talents the world misses out.

4->Seek out groups that most strongly value what you have to offer.
Finding the niche where your abilities are valued is the basis of success.

5->Avoid social groups where your unique attributes are not valued. Not everyone is going to like you or think you could amount to much. Get used to it. Accept that it is
so, and then get out of their way.

6->Live in the dreamtime. Find and follow your passions. Dream big dreams and make a promise to yourself to live a wonderful life.

7->Laugh a lot more. Find people, shows, books, films and situations that make you laugh and surround yourself with them.

8->Have something bigger than yourself to believe in. Think about the contribution you can make while you are on this planet and do it.

9->Love as much as you can- and then love some more.
